Garden flat conversion.
These empty-nesters, located in Collaroy on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, wanted their former, downstairs rumpus room converted into a self-contained flat.
With their children grown up and living elsewhere, the flat would provide a private sanctuary for guests who come to stay.
There was already a bathroom in the former rumpus room so this was renovated. A separate laundry was added.
In total, the very spacious self contained flat comprised a large kitchen, combined living/dining room, bedroom, bathroom and laundry.
We converted a section of the lawn into a large, paved terrace that was accessed from the living area via large sliding doors.
